I moved downtown last month, and to quote William Carlos Williams, it has made all of the difference. I say stuff now like ‘I’m going downtown’ to mean ‘I’m walking 4 blocks to the square.’

And for the first time since I left Campus, I can be fully pedestrian now. I don’t need to extol the virtues of that. It has, regrettably, however, dulled my interest in the pay-parking debate. I just park at home now.

It’s still anti-student, though.
